Dr. Pepper/Pie Ride - August 18, 2007

Post by stjeanp »

We're planning a ride for some good pie and some real Dr. Pepper, round trip from the starting point is about 200 or so miles.

The starting point is the Cracker Barrel on I-20 and Bowen Rd. We'll meet
up at 8:00 AM on August 18, get some breakfast, then hit the road.

4300 S. Bowen Rd.
Arlington, TX 76016

After breakfast we'll head out to Hico following this route:
20 East to 157 South
Go south on 157
Turn right onto Debbie Ln. (FM-1187)
Turn left onto FM-731
Turn right onto TX-174
Turn right onto US-67 South
Turn left onto TX-220
Turn right onto TX-6 North

We should arrive at the Koffee Kup around lunch time...
Intersection of TX-6 and US-281

The restaurant is cash only, so please remember the green spendy things.

From there we'll head over to Dublin for some real Dr. Pepper

Continue north on TX-6 from the Koffee Kup
Turn left on Patrick St. (US-377)
Intersection of Elm and Patrick

And then finally, the route back to the metromess.

Take US-377 north through Stephenville, Granbury, and up to Benbrook
At that point you're on 820 and we can either head in to Ft. Worth for some food or head home.
